It's Time To EXECUTE!!! Demolish Procrastination...TODAY!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend a live event entitled, "The Greatness Session" with Dr. Eric Thomas. Now let me tell you, I can't let a week go by without listening to an Eric Thomas motivational YouTube video. So you can only imagine how MIND BLOWING this experience was to see someone I admire and have listened to every week for the past year live and in the flesh! I don't even want to talk about or admit how I almost turned around and went back home after driving around for over 2 hours looking for the venue. I mean, I liteally was 5 seconds away from throwing up my hands and giving up on this opportunity. I thought I had been scammed out of $105.00 and I was willing to just chalk up the lost. But my partner in crime and good friend, The Butcher, Cory Beal Sr. pushed me to keep moving and we arrived just in time to hear Eric Thomas bring the house down!

 The message was powerful and the biggest nuggets I gained were:

1. You are not successful, because you fail to EXECUTE
2. Create A Value System, family is EVERYTHING

Let's dig deeper and talk about how these two statements were game changers for me. Let's start with, "Now is The Time To Execute!". I have a  question for you: How long have you been saying you are going to do something, but yet you have failed to make it happen? Uhmmmm what the HELL are you waiting on?!?! Are you waiting on the perfect time? There isn't one! Are you waiting on someone to come along and whisper in your ear..."it's time!" More bad news, that's not going to happen either. Or my favorite one, your dreams and goals are going to come to past because you have prayed about it, but your lazy rearend has done ANY action and you are just sitting around waiting on a miracle. Well let me be the girl of more REAL news....NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN FOR YOU UNLESS YOU PUT YOUR BACK INTO IT AND MOVE YOUR HANDS AND FEET! Not only MOVE, but move consistently and intentionally. I love to tell people, "ain't nobody holding you back but yourself...PERIOD!" For years I have sat around pointing the finger and waiting for someone to HAND me my perfect opportunity. I have been waiting for someone to bring up my name and hopefully receive that life changing phone call and POOF I become this over night multi-millionaire!!! Joi Worthy Johnson get the hell out of here and go and have several seats! If you want success, I mean real "money in the bank, shawty what you drank success!" It's time to roll up your sleeves and pants legs and execute!! Dr. Eric Thomas has this saying, "Give 120 until the day I die!" Which basically, means instead of giving just 100% effort you need to give 120% effort. Say what?!?! Can I be honest and say I am already exhausted just thinking about giving 120%. But guess what, I sure am about to try. I mean giving 30%, 50%, and even 95% isn't working so I am about to turn it up and go full throttle!! Are you going to try it out with me?!?! Maybe I should start a Dr. Eric Thomas 120% challenge?? Let me know your thoughts...

Now on to the next nugget that really got my heart stirring,  "You have to have a value system!" So here is a transparency truth I am not the most proud of but it's real. For at least the last 6 years, my values have been ME, MYSELF, and I. All about Joi Worthy Johnson, just plain on selfish! Yes, I have a loving, fine and supportive husband, but he wasn't apart of my value system. Yes, I am a mother of 3 beautiful, outgoing and healthy children but I would put work and business before all of them in a heartbeat. And I would convince myself, I was making the right decision by sacrificing my family, because I would say I have to attend 5 business meetings a week to secure new opportunities. Or I needed to stay on my laptop until 2:30am because I am working on my next big idea. REALLY?!?! I told you it was a truth that I am not proud of. And to be even more honest, it is something I am working on presently. Yes, I want to be wildly successful, but more importantly I want to be able to share my success with the people I care about the most! Creating a value system is no longer an option for me it is a necessity for my life! Is it going to be hard, possibly, but is it worth it?? HELLLLLL YES it's worth every sacrifice, sweat and tear. I don't want to live my life in regrets and lost opportunities of missing out on family memories.

Blueprint To Execute!!

1. Do it when you Don't Feel Like
2. Do it when you are Scared
3. Take it ONE step at a time, hour by hour
4. Create a  daily To Do List and review your accomplishments each day
5. Divorce procrastination, stagnation and complacency!!
6. GET THE HELL UP AND MOVE...NOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!
