Who Cares What Everybody Else Thinks!!
For those who REALLY know me, you will know from the age of 19 I have had dreams of becoming an entrepreneur. I often tell people, I never had a W-2 mindset, I mean like...NEVER!! I knew at 16 when I was a shampoo girl at the hair salon I was going to be my own boss one day. I never had dreams of climbing the corporate ladder. I entertained jobs because my environment made me feel like that was the "right" thing to do. But in my mind, I would say to myself, "working for someone else is for the birds!!" However, I was afraid to say how I truly felt out loud because I didn't want anyone to have a heart attack on my account. And I didn't feel like hearing any lectures about the economy, job security and blah blah...miss me with all of that please!
You want to start experiencing life to the fullest?!?! Well stop playing it so freaking safe all the got dog on time! Live a little, take some risk and forget the opinions and suggestions of everyone else. You know you have more inside of you, you feel it, but you keep suppressing it and running from your AMAZENESS ( I created this word, I will be using it a lot throughout my blogs) You know you WANT more out of life, so GO GET IT!!! GO GET IT RIGHT NOW! RIGHT NOW! Imagine me pushing you in the back...GOOOOOOOOOOO you can DOOOOOOOOOO it!!! Okay you get my point. But listen, go boldly and be unapologetic about your actions. Who cares if NO ONE thinks it's a good idea. Often times when I want to start a new business , I have a new idea or concept most of my friends think I am crazy and I am all over the place. I have come to the realization I am not calculated like they are, and guess what, THAT'S OKAY!!!!
Way to often we are looking at our friends or a friend of a friend and comparing our success or progression in life to theirs. Let me tell you something STOP looking at other people life. You don't know their back story or what they had to go through to get to where they are. Focus on your own yard and continue to water your own grass and your own flowers...hahahaha! I mean shoot...I have spent way to much time in my life looking at the progression of everyone else and not taking a moment to give myself a pat on the bat for all that I have accomplished in my own life. I mean if I say so myself...I'm FREAKING AMAZING...unapologetically!
So as I wrap up this post I want to challenge you to follow your heart, dreams and passion. Go and BE AMAZING ON PURPOSE!!!
